Services

Hearing services to manage hearing loss, tinnitus, or dizziness

Hearing Tests

We offer hearing tests in Lutz, Sun City, Pinellas Park, and New Port Richey for adults of all ages. We can learn more about your hearing loss through an evaluation of your ears and hearing. Some common diagnostic hearing tests include a pure tone test, tympanometry testing (evaluating fluid buildup in the ear), and speech testing (determining how well you understand the words you hear). None of these tests are painful and we will explain everything to make sure you are comfortable.

If you are dealing with dizziness, vertigo, or balance issues, a diagnostic hearing test will be the first step as our hearing is closely related to balance.

Free Hearing Screenings

If you think you may have hearing loss, come see us for a complimentary hearing screening. This is the first step to better hearing, and it’s an important baseline for your overall health.

Hearing Aid Fittings

To get the most out of your hearing aids, they must be professionally fit and programmed to your unique needs. Our hearing specialists are experts in hearing aid technology and can fit your devices to sit comfortably yet securely in/around your ears. We will also program them based on your hearing prescription, so they provide you with the right amount of amplification.

We offer hearing aids from all of the major manufacturers, so we’re able to find the right match for your ears and your lifestyle. Our offices are equipped to simulate many different settings you might encounter in real life, which lets us ensure that your hearing aids will serve you well even in noisy environments.

Industrial Hearing Screenings

If your workplace requires you to have your hearing tested regularly, we are able to quickly and efficiently complete screenings that follow the standards set by OSHA. Individuals who work in loud environments are at a greater risk of developing noise induced hearing loss. It’s important to have a baseline for your hearing to monitor if it gets worse. This is why we are happy to offer industrial hearing screenings to those working in occupations where noise can be hazardous.

Hearing Aid Repairs

Our extensive experience with hearing aids over several decades has given us the skill to offer some hearing aid repairs in-office. This allows us to save patients time and money because we can often avoid sending hearing aids back to the manufacturer for repairs.

Tinnitus Management

Tinnitus, commonly known as “ringing in the ears,” can be distracting and unpleasant. If you are experiencing tinnitus, we can evaluate the severity of your case and determine what management options may be available to help treat it. Some cases of tinnitus are related to hearing loss and can be addressed with hearing aids. Although hearing aids won’t stop ringing in the ears completely, they can help you experience relief.

Cerumen (Earwax) Removal

Cerumen, also known as earwax, can be responsible for discomfort, clogged ears, and for hearing loss. Clearing the cerumen from your ear canal can improve your hearing. Cerumen can also impede your hearing aids, so it’s important to keep both your ears and your devices clean.

If you are unsure if your muffled hearing is from a wax blockage or hearing loss, contact us for a hearing exam!

Custom Earmolds and Earplugs

Loud noise exposure is one of the most common causes of hearing loss in people of all ages. Protecting your hearing now can help prevent hearing loss in the future.

We can take a mold of your ear and use it to make custom earplugs (perfect if you spend time hunting, at live music concerts, or on construction sites) or other custom devices such as cell phone headsets. We also specialize in musician’s in-ear monitors. Custom fit hearing protection is a great way to stay proactive over your hearing health, contact us today to discuss your options!
